Cafe 3d render
Cafe 3d render made in 3ds max, vray
While learning the inner workings of 3D modeling software, I believed the best way to learn the software was to just accept some random work!
The previews were generated using 3ds max, and some rather fancy shaders. The concept was a rustic looking cafe with a modern twist using lighting to highlight the stone work decor and wood furniture.
This was my first time doing such work, so I challenged myself to complete it within 3 weeks of project start. Since I was mostly asset modeling for video games at the time, this high detail concept was quite a mission to grasp. But it all worked out in the end 👌
Another project had a tighter deadline. The storage building concepts were required to be completed within a week. Obviously panicked.
After surviving the challenges of 3d rendering on a potato, slow file loads and textures not squaring up. I was able to finally say I did it. Now I can brag about it for the next 10 years. 🤤
